Blessing is a young Nigerian woman, who like many others, has migrated out of her country, across Africa. The documentary builds an empowering story of her journey, connected to human trafficking and sexual exploitation networks, articulating the voices of professionals linked to this problem.

workshop

The music of the documentary is composed from 3 recordings made in July 2015 by Esperanza and Inmaculada in the 'Destiny child' orphanage for street children in Calabar, Nigeria. On this initial material, fragments of traditional musical expressions of the territories crossed by Blessing, the protagonist, in her migratory journey to Andalusia have been interwoven. To weave this sonorous transit, fragments of 63 recordings from 45 discs have been used, maintaining their original tones.
