Sierra de Sones Festival

A sound remix and memories project in Torres (Jaén)

The music festival Sierra de Sones arises in 2023 in Torres, (a village located in the natural park of Sierra Mágina, Jaén) with the vocation of generating dialogues and encounters between rural and urban imaginaries.

In the second edition, we have been invited to initiate a work process that can be developed in several editions, and that involves the 'mini band' of the village, the students of the school and the neighbors. We are very excited about the possibility of thinking and working on this time scale in the village.

For the 2024 edition we have started to create synergies with the mini band of the cultural association Pilla Pellenda and the students of the ESO of the CEIP Aznaitín, you can see the work done here:
