After the request from Caixaforum and its summer workshops organized by El Culturista, we set out to imagine and create together with the workshop participants, how would be the soundtrack of our summer using sampling, editing and audio recording as a creative tool.

The idea was to imagine the summer as a universe of sounds, a space to travel and explore through the body and movement. To do this, we built a linear interactive device, at each step, with each workshop and each tile, we were experimenting collectively, discovering together the soundtrack of this imaginary walk.

We remembered the variety and diversity of groups that passed through our workshop, creating truly surprising and different pieces. The sounds they imagined reflected the places where the kids usually spend their summer and whether or not they have the possibility of going on vacation elsewhere.
