Istan-shaw-ville
Collaborative musical creation activity developed between the students of CEIP San José Obrero in Seville, the students of Tamer Özyurt İlköğretim school in Istanbul and the students of Montessori Korczak school in Warsaw.
The piece was composed using fragments of recordings from their music classes. We started sending the recordings from one school to the others, adding new loops using play.antropoloops.com. The online remix tool allowed the students to play and explore the piece in all 3 schools at the end of the course.
Istan/shaw/ville is a musical remix piece made from their recordings, excerpts from their daily musical life at school.
